In the many eras of actors, there are some who have rooted themselves as icons of their individual careers. Salman Khan is one such being. He isn’t just an actor but a superstar, someone whose filmography is just as impressive as it is polarising. As of date, he has done films that have showcased his talent in the best way possible.
At the same time, he has done movies that make you wonder whether it was the same man you fell for all those years ago or a shadow of his former self. With such a divided filmography, Khan had pretty much typecast himself into roles where he was playing Salman Khan with a different name.

From Tiger to Sikander and all those roles that Salman Khan has recently been criticised for, there is one thing in common – he is playing roles that require minimum effort and don’t truly build up on the story or character. He has that smouldering face that will give you an uncanny look throughout the course of the film, an action sequence that is both predictable and cliche and the credits will roll.
His upcoming film, The Battle of Galwan, seems to steer clear of all that he has recently been mocked for. Not only is he working on his fitness, posting photos on his X account about his journey, but there also seems to be a proper story in play. Unlike his previous films, this seems to be the one he’s actually putting a lot of effort into.
The poster looks like it promises a strong performance already, so the trailer might completely seal the deal. Salman Khan is a great actor; he has always been a great actor. He didn’t magically lose his ability to act just because he couldn’t deliver in his performances for a while now.

For a while now, there’s been a common consensus that Salman Khan’s career peaked years ago and has since been on an unfortunate decline. Even a film like Tubelight, that flopped miserably, had a strong performance by the actor, one that was easily overlooked by the audience.
However, for almost half a decade now, his roles have been less in range and better defined as flat characters. The poster for The Battle of Galwan has so much emotion trapped that it promises the return of Salman Khan in his full glory. The amount of vigour and charisma trapped in his eyes is enough to ensure that the true actor we all fell in love with all those years ago hasn’t vanished altogether.
This could mark the comeback fans have been asking for because we aren’t tired of seeing Salman Khan on our big screens just yet.
